To recreate this look…..

1. First spray dry hair the hair with EVO Salty Dog then dry the product in with your hairdryer moving the hair around with your fingers, try to move the hair up and in the opposite direction to its natural fall to create root lift.

2. Section the hair horizontally starting at the nape, and divide in to two to three different sized sections. Spray each section with a heat protecting spray such as EVO Icon Welder to protect the hair from heat.

3. Using a medium ceramic tong, wrap each section around the tong and hold, leaving the very ends out to give the hair an ‘S’ bend. Hold until the hair is too hot to touch and release. Continue this around the whole head.

4. On completion tip head upside down and give hair a thorough shake to seperate. Tip head back up and fiddle with hair until it sits how you would like.

5. If hair is fine mist with EVO Helmut hairspray for extra texture and hold.

Zambesi.

We put a thickening creme like Evo Shape Vixen through the ends and loosely blasted dry, this brings out a disheveled natural texture.

The top section has a substantial amount of root booster in it like Evo Root Canal.

We then crimped around 5 inches of the roots to give volume so the head piece would not sit to flat.

We then placed the head piece on and used a serum spray like Evo Love Touch to create some separation on through the ends.

Q.I hate my jaw line…what can I do to soften my face shape?

A.Allison…I would recommend adding some soft layering below the jaw line a-la Jennifer Anniston and maybe toy with the idea of a soft fringe for a visual focus away from the jaw.

Q.How often should I shampoo my hair?

A.Grace…I find it best to shampoo your hair every 2-3 days, this allows your hair to produce natural oils which are great for the hair.

Q.Is there a difference between In salon products and supermarket products?

A.Allison…We use Kevin Murphy and Evo in the salon. We feel that they are both superior product ranges within their own merits. At Desmond & Molly Jones we know the benefits of being prescriptive ensuring optimum results at home.

Q.Is it bad to be using Hot irons everyday?

A.Kate…Yes! If you are doing this, you need to be using a protector such as Icon Welder by Evo, which puts a barrier between the heat and the hair.

Q.Should I be using a conditioning treatment at home?

A.Allison…Yes, definitely! Its important to keep your hair in good condition in between visits to the salon. If your hair is dry it can lead to colour fading and unruly hair making it hard for you to recreate your style.
