Heavenly Hairdresser

This Central West country girl always had big dreams of city living in cute quirky terraces and early on her $2 hair brushing business made her feel that she just might be able to make a living from hair – or at least buy another Powerpuff doll. After enduring bad Mum haircuts, rural Australian fashion & Lizzie Mcguire movies for most of her youth, she almost took a path of training as a Nikita-esque assasin. Thankfully, sanity prevailed and she hunted down an apprenticeship. For three years, she did the hard yards – working in a backwater salon in Bathurst and weekly commutes to TAFE in Sydney. A multi- award winning student, Kaitlyn finished her apprenticeship and moved permanently to the big smoke where she found out that living in a cute, quirky terrace with a balcony and lots of killer stairs was actually not all it was cracked up to be. She found her way to Desmond & Molly Jones – and revealed her additional talents – superb peripheral vision and finding small things people accidentally drop. and they introduced her to their cute quirky terrace salon on three floors with lots of stairs. Dream match.
